“Faccio io” についてchatGPTに聞いてみました
今週から朝の話が始まります。今年は鳥越、榎本に加え、サレジオ会の阿部神父にも担当してもらいます。阿部神父はサレジオ学院卒業生で上智大学などで神学を終えており、都筑カトリック教会でもミサを担当しています。阿部神父共々よろしくお願いします。
さて始業式ではパン種の話をしましたが、パン種につながる言葉として faccio ioについて考えてみましょう。先日、faccio ioについてchatGPTに質問してみました。
とりあえず「faccio ioとは何ですか？」と聞いたら、「faccio ioとは「イタリア語で「私がやります」という意味を持ちます。直訳すると「私がする」という意味で、何かを自分で行うことを強調する表現です。この表現は、自信や責任感を表現するために使われることがあります。」お〜素晴らしい。でも一般的すぎてサレジオっぽさがないですね。
そこで「faccio ioについてドンボスコはどのように言ってる？」と打ち込むと「「faccio io（私がする）」という表現は、ドン・ボスコが提唱した教育哲学のひとつである「プリンシプ」の中で、具体的な行動原則として挙げられています。」なるほど〜、でも「うん」と思いました。「プリンシプ」？プリンシプって何？ドンボスコはそんな本は書いていません。chatGPT嘘ついたか〜と思いましたが、プリンシプが英語の principle からの翻訳だろうと思ったので、今度は What is the principle of “Faaio io” by St.John Bosco?と英語で聞いていました。すると

ともあれ、chatGPTを利用して欲しい情報に行き着くために、言語を含めて質問の仕方を工夫しないといけないなと感じました。
いずれにしても faccio io は調べて終わりでなく、行動に結びつけて初めて意味を持ちます。chatGPTは皆さんの代わりにサレジアンになってくれないし、faccio io を実行してくれもしません。今日一日皆さんはどう Faccio ioを学校生活で実践するでしょうか？
